   Hello,
   I limited some users to post in certain category and it works fine.
   Now I want these users when they make a new post, have already the right category selected without needing to select one (they can post only in one category).
   Is it possible?

   I need to do the exact same thing. Have a user restricted to adding posts in one category only.

   I also need to do this. Ideally, I'd both have a particular category per user defined or checked for them, and all other categories hidden (and I'd also by default hide the categories pane in the New Post window.

   I basically want my users to have the most simple interface possible. They click publish and posts are automatically routed to a unique category I assign to each one of them.

   This hides categories (and still works) but no auto selection of categories according to user: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bind-user-to-cat/
