• I just wanted to say thank you for a great plug-in. I’ve been looking for something like this for quite some time, but the plug-ins never delivered. Even tried yours last year, but no dice. Now it works like a champ in the latest WP.

    I’m in Fort Collins and I see you’re in Denver. And oddly enough, we’re both really into WordPress real estate websites. We should talk.

    Thanks again.

    Not to kill a good thread here, but NextGen Gallery doesn’t seem to wanna work…it won’t insert the shortcode. Any ideas?

    Thanks.

    Thanks for your feedback and also letting me know about NextGen. Could you tell me what the Firebug/Safari/Chrome developer console is saying? There’s likely a javascript error that’s causing the problem.

    No problem.

    I’m using the Firebug Console to view errors, but it doesn’t look like I’m getting any. It goes through the whole process fine, let’s my select the gallery and options, such as “slideshow,” but it just doesn’t insert the shortcode…all the while not providing any errors. I remember this happening actually on another client’s site too when I originally tested out this plugin.

    Anyways, please let me know if I can help.

    Thanks!

    Would really like to use nextgen in tags description as well.

    The issue is in the way that NextGen has been coded; they use the following code, which only inserts the tag for the a textarea with the id of #content:

    window.tinyMCE.execInstanceCommand('content', 'mceInsertContent', false, tagtext);

    The problem there is that the textareas for tags, categories, or taxonomies is either description or category_description – that’s why nothing happens.

    I’m not sure how to fix this at the moment.

    I found a pretty simple solution and implemented it in version 1.3 of the plugin, which I just released. Please consider donating!
