• On FireFox:

    I never get any Rich Text options, such as bold, italics, etc. (neither while adding a new category or editing an existing one).

    When editing an existing category, the upload buttons appear at the very top of the form, just below Edit Category, instead of above the Description textarea. Clicking on them does nothing.

    On Chrome:
    The basic rich editing buttons show up on both the Add New category form and when editing.
    The upload buttons do NOT appear on the New Category form, but do appear in the right place on the Edit Category form. If I upload a new image right now, I can Insert into Post the image into my description. However, if I try to select an existing image from my Media Library, there is no option to Insert into Post, so I can’t actually use these images here. The only option showing near where Insert Into Post should be is Delete. :/

    Additionally, the following Notice is generated:
    Notice: wp_enqueue_script was called incorrectly. Scripts and styles should not be registered or enqueued until the wp_enqueue_scripts, admin_enqueue_scripts, or init hooks. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 3.3.) in /data/apache/lamp/dev8-ces-lamp/docs/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3578

  • on Safari 5.13 (latest Version on OSX 10.73 Lion):

    The editor does not show up at all on my category page.

    On WordPress 3.2.1 with plugin version 1.4.1, some html elements were not saved in the
    database, such as

    <ul>
    <li>

    and also wordpress shortcode.

    Will you fix this, please?

    Kind regards,

    Thomas

    This should be fixed in Version 1.5.

    Indeed, thank you!!!

    Hope your plugin will also work in WordPress 3.4 . Has anyone tested already against the new beta 2 ?

    @wp-fan, I have tested it using 3.4 and it works.

    @zack,
    thanks for testing against WP 3.4. Good news.

    I am sorry I have to differentiate my “hurray, it works”-posting above. On my installation (latest WP version, branford theme 6.01) some issues still remain. The editor indeed does show up correctly on category and tag archive pages, but:

    [shortcode]
    <ul>
    <li>

    do show up and are usable in the editor, but this markup does finally not show up on the published archives (and maybe others, this code is the only one I have tested) .

    Also, instead of

    everywhere a black triangle with a white question mark inside appears after I have published changes in the category or tag archive and try to re-edit the code with the tinymce editor. I have to manually exchange this sign with the original code everywhere it appears in the code.

    In a nutshell: Basic html code works (and this indeed is a progress!), but more advanced html markup does still seem to cause problems.

    Is this an issue with the plugin or with wordpress core, what do you think? Do you know any workaround?

    Kind regards,

    Thomas
