   It works fine for standard WP categories but two major custom taxonomies w/ custom post types are still displayed...allowing these authors complete access to categories I want off-limits (even from viewing).

   Any manual hack for including custom taxonomies in the prohibited list?

   ...and while we're about it, the media bin?

   Restricting taxonomies and media are not features of this plugin.

   At some point in the future I plan to release a plugin that allows you to restrict based on custom taxonomies. I haven't had the time to get to it lately, though.
