I've been looking for a plugin that can generate a Amazon S3 Query string protected URL to prevent people from hotlinking to our content. Some more info about the problem here.
The basic idea is this. Use a script similar to this this one and then just make it possible to create a url with some kind of syntax like.
[S3 EXPIRE=60 URL=http://myfile.amazon.com/mysong.mp3]
and that will generate a URL that will expire in 60 minutes. Something like that. All the settings for KEY's and stuff could be direct in the PHP file and so on ..
I'm suprised this doesnt exist :)
Ps. I know that there is a Amazon S3 plugin but it doesn't do this as far i have understood. It is here ..
