   How would I go about making this plugin work with Kubrick? The old Kubrick theme used to have a propper comment loop in the comments.php file - the new one does not. It simply calls comment_list() function.

   Any idea how to work around this? Where is comment_list() defined?

   I figured it out. You can change it in wp-includes/comments-template.php
