   Running Relevanssi Version 2.9.12 on a multisite deployment.

   The plugin indexes properly on the first multisite, but when I attempt to index a second one, it displays the message "Indexing complete!" but the "Documents in the index" and
   "Highest post ID indexed" fields remain blank, and searches find no results.

   To be clear, I am not in pursuit of cross-multisite search, I am only looking to use this plugin in a few of my multisites.

   I'm not sure, but I think you need Premium for Relevanssi to work properly in a multisite setup, even when you don't want to search multiple sites. The installation procedure for a multisite setup is different from a single WP installation.

   If you take a look at under the hood, you'll probably find out that the second blog doesn't have proper database tables installed.

   Maybe this will help:

   "Relevanssi is a network plugin, so it only needs to be installed once on network level. However, you need to activate the plugin and build the index for each site.    ...and that only applies to Relevanssi Premium. The free Relevanssi that's available in the Plugin Repository is not multisite compatible.
