Hi,

I use the plugin ‘Simply Exclude’ to hide certain page from the default WP search results. However, it seems that Relevanssi is showing these posts. Is there a way to get Relevanssi to respect the visibility flag on these posts? I’d rather not have to provide a long list of page id’s to hide them.

Sorry, I checked and the way Simply Exclude works is simply incompatible with Relevanssi. Making the two work together would require major changes to one of them.

Thanks. Can you suggest any other way of easily excluding pages?

Function that uses relevanssi_hits_filter to check whether pages are ok to show and if not, removes them from hits.

Beats me, all I know Relevanssi is not the default WP search (and that’s why it works) and Simply Exclude relies on that.

if you want to keep your simply exclude, you just probably need to modify the meta key they use for excluding

Relevanssi Premium has this very useful exclude checkbox on every post edit page as well.
