Hey folks,
dunno if this has been posted before but in the official german WordPress support forums there's been some questions where the entry IDs in the 'Manage Posts/Pages' view are gone.. obviously they've been removed cause most common users dont need them..
However, for advanced WordPress Users/ developers those IDs were quite interesting for some plugins or template tags.
What this plugin does is to add a new column to the ‘Manage Posts’ and ‘Manage Pages’ view, with the entry’s ID, as it was in versions prior to 2.5.

(Hope there's not been published a similar plugin already ;-))
I have just updated my little plugin: Reveal IDs for WP Admin 2.5 Plugin
The following ID columns can be revealed: Posts, Pages, Category, Links, Media
Plus there's the possibility to permit/allow user roles to see the IDs now. View Options page screenshot
Enjoy!

That's a great plugin - thanks Alphawolf. I feared I may lose my sanity manually looking up every id number by going to the urls! Excellent stuff.
Glad you like it, Joannes. Thanks for your feedback. :-)

I think this is what I've been desperately looking for, but it doesn't seem to work for me (uploaded, activated, but still no pageIDs).
rocktog, you propably have to set and save the options once.

Thanks, I'll try that, but I've sort of given up on this and am redesigning how I handle some things instead.

Alphawolf: thanks for the great plugin! Hopefully WP will come out with a 2.5.X version that solves this, but this is a great fix in the mean time.
