[Plugin: Relative Image URLs] Error when activating (6 posts)

This seems like a great idea for a plugin (something that has definitely been bugging me for a while). However, after installing the plugin and attempting to activate it - I get the following error message:

The plugin does not have a valid header.

I got my friend to try it as well and received the same error. Has anyone else had any problems activating?

Yes, the same problem for me - the same error message.
And it does not even show up in the plugin list, so i could not deactivate it via backend.

I got it to work on localhost (WP 3.0.1) however on the live site it won't do anything. No error message, it just won't convert the urls. I don't believe this, such a great plugin but apparently needs some rework.

Just in case anyone still has this problem, the plugin appears to be simply badly packaged... The actual PHP file (relativeimage.php) is inside a subdirectory (relative-image-urls), whereas it should be at the root of the plugin directory. If you have access to the plugin files, simply move this file out of its subdirectory and the plugin will work fine.

Please fix. Thank you very much.

The fix above does make the plugin visible, but does not work very well for me. It won't apply this edit to existing pages. When putting in a new image, it does work on the src= link, but it does not change href= links from the thumbnail to the larger version of the file.

There's another plugin, http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/relative-site-url-on-content-save/, that does the job better for me since it fixes both those problems. However it has the disadvantage that if you are editing the page in Visual mode, the preview does not show the image, since the editor does not understand the [url] shortcode.
