[Plugin: Related Posts Thumbnails] Seems a bit random

Let me just say that the plugin works, just not as good as i wanted it to. The problem is that it doesnt show the most related posts, just “some” related posts.

I have a site where i add content every day in a lot of different categories, kinda like a wiki. So there are too many categories to add one by one, is there any way to exclude categories, instead of including? I have tried relation based on both categories and tags, but still it seems a bit random.

For instance..it shows posts with only 1 common category/tag in front of posts that have 2 common categories/tags… I have used the “yet another related..” plugin and that had a “show only posts with at least x-number of categories in common” function which did the trick for my site. Any way to implement this into your plugin? Or any way i can make it a bit more strict if you know what i mean?
