   I installed and set up Register Plus, and am so impressed with the interface and capability...but none of the user verification emails have gone through.

   I've tried different email hosts(hotmail, riseup, & a university email) - all to no avail. I've tried switching off the "allow users to supply their own password" option too.

   Any ideas?

   Has anybody else experienced this? I really can't solve it. I even tried resending verification emails from the admin panel and still no success. :(

   It works for me, at least I think it does. Every time I see a thread like this, I feel like I need to go register yet-another email address on my own blogs, just to make sure it still works!

   For me so far, the times I've not gotten the registration email, it was an email filtering problem on my end, not the plugin failing to send it. It sounds like you made-sure it wasn't in your spam folder or your Sent Mail box, since you tried registering with several different email accounts.

   I assume Regular-WP without this plugin, was sending register emails just fine?

   I guess try deactivating all your other plugins except for Register Plus, and then try it? Sometimes a trouble-shooting technique

   Thanks for the advice. I was bracing myself for the plugin turn-off, but decided on a whim to just reinstall the Register-Plus plugin.
   And it worked! Now my emails are going through.

   I've tried everything possible to get the emails to work, but nothing is working. I turned off the plug-in, I reinstalled the plug-in, even checked to see if it was an issue on the smtp side..but to no avail...it's still not working.

   ANy other suggestions?

   Same here...cannot get it to send verification emails from the registration. It will send lost password emails, admin verified emails to the registered email, just not the verification.

   As a side note: Does anyone know where in the code or style sheets I would change to have the lost password or admin verified emails sent from my address instead of "WordPress"?
