Downloaded and installed "Redirection".
Installed and activated the plugin, did not make any changes
or settings yet. Then noticed the "page not found" for all pages except the index.php
The pages are all still there within the Dashboard, but none of them can be accessed from the net.
I tried republishing, but no success.
Deactivated plugin - no success
Uninstalled plugin - no success
If you have deactivated and uninstalled the plugin then the cause lies elsewhere - not the plugin itself

@garyw7 --> Gary, just want to say I had this trouble as well. In my case I was using category slugs and post names in my permalinks, so mine were something like "/training/how-to-get-there". What I did was to go into WP's permalinks settings in the sidebar, switch it back to the default one, so something like "/?post_id=34" or some such thing, and then switch it back.
@Robert --> I understand how you can draw upon this conclusion, but I would just like to point out that it's possible your plugin is altering something that isn't reverted during deactivation/uninstall. Since both garyw7 and myself encountered the problem just after installing your plugin, perhaps you should take a closer look.
It's not my plugin. My name is Robert. Author's name is John.

Robert --> Oops! Sorry Robert, my mistake. John, if you're reading this, that reply was meant for you.
