so I logged into google webmaster tools and saw tons of tag pages like http://domain.com?tag=this-is-my-tag

I tried disabling other plugin, also running the hotfix plugin that should fix the htaccess file.

I am using the redirection plugin and am thinking it is causing these issues

I really need these pages to work because I am loosing lots of traffic.

here is a screenshot of the what google says:

and here is a screenshot of what my site looks like at that those links:

I can't figure this out and it is driving me crazy any and all help would be a blessing.

  2. Looking at that screen shot, are those your links? I'm not judging but if they aren't then you've been seriously hacked.

If they are your links (and it looks like they are) and the links are correct then try disabling all of your plugins and see if the links start working again.

yes they are my keywords, they are for a clients site.

I think the issue may be I changed permalinks after I added like 9 posts - so a lot of those tags are connected to the old posts - this happened to me years ago, never resolved how to fix - if that clears it up please let me know what I can do, otherwise I am disabling all plugins right now to check.

disabling did not fix the problem

  5. Are those links legitimate? I mean, do those tags exist and you expect to see something besides 404?

I don't know - they may have been generated by an old advanced taging plugin I used to have - anyway I can check if they really exist? if notcan I just delete them and if so how, or can I do something smarter and redirect or create a custom 404 page?

    thanks again for your help
