   As in subject, does the new Google Reader make this plugin unusable?

   Yes, I believe it is unusable now. Technically, the plug-in works, but there's no way to update your shared items feed, so it can't really be used.

   A lot of people are really pissed at Google over this and other features they suddenly removed in order to promote Google+

   Actually, I take back what I wrote 2 days ago. You can still use this plugin and add new shared items.

   The trick is not to use the Google Reader website but a 3rd party Google Reader app instead.

   For example, I'm using the iOS app, MobileRSS on my iPhone and iPad and it still allows sharing of articles on Google Reader.

   In other words, the back end of Google Reader still supports sharing items, they just removed the front end user interface on the website.

   I wouldn't count on this lasting, but hopefully this helps some who are stuck right now.

   Would it be possible for the authors to pull the Starred items instead of the Shared items? GReader still allows you to star items ...

   It would be nice to get the starred items as a work around. Hopefully the creator of this plugin can fix this though. I love this plugin!

   Hi,
   I found a solution – but not easy:

   1. go to http://www.ridllr.com/ which will make you anrssfeed

   2. you get you link – my https://www.google.com/reader/view/user/11521792468677183017/state/com.google/broadcast

   3. because it’s now only headlines we have to make another trick – I use http://fulltextrssfeed.com but also http://www.wizardrss.com is a choise

   4.newurl for word press – http://fulltextrssfeed.com/www.google.com/reader/view/user/11521792468677183017/state/com.google/broadcast

   now you can usegooglereader again and use “send to” Reader via Ridllr

   that’s it
