The plugin generated 19 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.

Is the message after activating the plugin. And This "??" (without quotemarks) is appearing on a lot of places.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. It is important that bugs be reported at https://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/recipepress/ so that they can be added to the roadmap and be repaired in a timely manner.

I also receive the same message and it is appearing on the topmost (above the header) of every page. This resulted when I upgraded to the latest recipe press version as it was suggested. Don't have any idea how to resolve. Please help. Tnx

Major bummer- I was really excited to stumble across this one!

    Here ya go:
"Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error."
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/215971/webspace/siteapps/95813/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/recipe-press/recipe-press.php on line 42

Hope ya get it fixed soon! Love to see this one in action :-)

The activation errors and the other problems should go away with release of version 1.3 yesterday. Please let me know.

CandaceChicagoPhotographer: The plugin requires that the web server be running PHP5 - the errors you are getting only occur when you try to run the plugin on a server with PHP4. Ask your web server if it is possible to upgrade to PHP5.

Version 1.3.1 removes the requirement for PHP5 and Recipe Press should now run on servers with PHP4.
