   WordPress MU 4.7 throws the following error when trying to activate this plug-in:

   Fatal error: Class 'WP_Widget' not found in /long-path/recent-with-excerpts-widgets.php on line 41

   I have other widgets that are running.

   What version of MU are you using? AFAIK there is no 4.7.
