    Hi mattstorms,
    this plugin simply put together share buttons using the official Javascript code provided by the leading social networks. Its overall performance strictly depends on how many buttons you use and on every button’s performance on its own.

    Unfortunately there’s not much to do to increase speed on our side, however if you have suggestions we’ll be happy to test it.
