   Is it possible to hide the counter for Google "+1"?

   It says this:

   "Facebook Like and Twitter Share buttons are loaded by default. Other buttons, including Digg, Facebook Send, LinkedIn, Google "+1", Google Buzz, Stumbleupon, Hyves, Email, Reddit (and the deprecated Facebook Share button), can be added through the Settings->Really simple share menu."

   It sounds like you have to choose +1 and if you don't choose it, it won't show.
