I've used CF7 and Really Simple Captcha about a dozen times with no problems, but now I can't get past this. This is the error I get:

Warning: imagepng() [function.imagepng]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid/gid is 195624/195624 is not allowed to access /f5/homedirname/public/wp-content/uploads/wpcf7_captcha owned by uid/gid 25000/25000 in /f5/homedirname/public/wp-content/plugins/really-simple-captcha/really-simple-captcha.php on line 121

Warning: imagepng() [function.imagepng]: Invalid filename in /f5/homedirname/public/wp-content/plugins/really-simple-captcha/really-simple-captcha.php on line 121

Warning: fopen() [function.fopen]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid/gid is 195624/195624 is not allowed to access /f5/homedirname/public/wp-content/uploads/wpcf7_captcha owned by uid/gid 25000/25000 in /f5/homedirname/public/wp-content/plugins/really-simple-captcha/really-simple-captcha.php on line 130

A little bit about my hosting setup up: I'm using NearlyFreeSpeech. wp-content, uploads, wpcf7_captcha, really-simple-captcha, and really-simple-captcha all have permissions set to 777. Any advice? Thanks!

The PHP safe mode is recommended not to use. It makes important functions unavailable.

Thanks, but my host requires Safe Mode. Is there a work around?

No. I'd suggest switching to another host.
