[Plugin: Really Simple CAPTCHA] Fatal Error : undefined function when running captcha tag

    I am using real Simple CAPTCHA. It has always worked fine. My friend of mine asked to be it on her site, she gets the following error :

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function imagettftext() in /home/feathers/public_html/wp-content/plugins/really-simple-captcha/really-simple-captcha.php on line 96

    Why ? we have the same environment. Any ideas ?

    Weird I get that too. I’m using Thematic Gallery Theme!

    I’ve just compared with my old website on which it works perfectly.
    Note this runs WPMU 2.8.1. My new website uses 2.8.2.

    I thought it might be an update problem with the plugins but now I think its the WPMU update itself. Therfore this may be a permenant error until WPMU fixes the glitches in its update.

    Its a problem for the really simple captcha developer to fix really as this is no longer compatable with WPMU. Not sure whether its exactly the same for wordpress.

    If you see undefined function imagettftext() error, its most possible reason is that GD and FreeType library is not correctly installed on your server.
