I'm running wpmu...maybe that's an issue?
When I click "visual editor," a black lightbox opens up, but there is no editor inside. And, when I click the "ok" or "cancel" buttons, nothing happens. I have to shut down the screen. It's not frozen, but there's no way to close the window.
I'm on wpmu 2.9.2.
Thanks! -Greg

Hi Greg,
I never tested it on wpmu. Perhaps some others who are on wpmu can tell us whether it works. Normally when I have an error like the one you describe, I had them during development, there are java messages. Do you get any?

Hi Greg,
Today I downloaded WPMU and installed it locally under XAMPP to see whether your error has anything to do with the fact that you're on WPMU.
But, the Visual Editor opens and I am able to use it to post. So..., I can't reproduce your error.
Please mail me your site address so we can try to sort it out by mail.

You want to sign up for a free blog and I'll activate the plugin for you so you can see it?
I'm not sure if there's an easier way...

As a side note...have you ever thought about trying to make this compatible with Buddypress?
It would be incredible to have this ability right from a member's profile page.
Hi Greg,
I signed up for your site.
About BuddyPress, I tried the BuddyPress plugin on my site and the Quick Post Widget works with it. If anyone can confirm that I would be very pleased.
Thanks,
Perry
Hi Greg,
I tried posting with the Quick Post Widget in my blog on your site and it works fine.

I have the same problem. A black lightbox when I use the visual editor.
I use:
WordPress 3.0.1.
Quick Post Widget 1.7.1
So: How did you solve your problem?
