    i’ve got the plug in quick-post-widget
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/quick-post-widget/

    I’ve got a quick post widget which lets users post from the front end of the blog (in the side bar) rather than having to sign in to the dashboard.
    However it doesn’t give control over the date of the post and i need the user to be able to set it at future dated posts for an events category. This means i need to create an option for setting the date in the sidebar widget

    The sidebar can be seen from the user end at http://glasgowopenschool.com/blog/?cat=3

    So i realise i need to do something to the php in the widget editor. i need to allow it to happen and create a field in the sidebar widget for it to be selected.

    any help?

    thanks liam

    I will have a look at it. It isn’t very hard to implement I think. The hardest part is finding some time the next couple of days.

    Yes, I am very busy, I’m sorry. But I will have a look at it.
    Could you please send me an email so we can sort things out over mail? You can find the mail address in the quick-post-widget.php file.

    Just uploaded version 1.8 with the option to set the date/time. Please delete your beta version and update to 1.8

    @all
    Had mail-contact with liam. Sent a pre-release with date/time option. Modifications are in version 1.8 (just uploaded it).
