I can upload an image just fine, but when it is inserted into the post it is a broken image. I noticed the file path looks incorrect. I am not sure what the file path should be, but it definitely does not match what the file path is.

What is the actual file path which results in a broken link?

You must register in order to get to the post page, the link is under the "Welcome" in the sidebar after you login. Try uploading an image and posting. I notice that there are missing "/" characters in the file path of the image when it is shown in the pop up window.

Could you check whether you have a line like
define('UPLOADS'....in your wp-config.php file?
If so, what does it say?inapan
