Hi,
I'm using WordPress multisite + Buddypress, most of my new blogs will use the twenty ten then.
Most of my users will be newbies not familiar with wordpress, so I'd like to have the quick post widget added by default to the sidebar of their new blog, to make it as easy for them as possible to post new content.
Please help, how can I make this widget show by default?
Thanks,
Nadav

Thanks Gisha James,
I already activated the plugin across the network, so that when a new blog is created the widget is in the widget area waiting to be used.
I don't know how to add it to the side bar by default.
From your link I understood there was a way to edit the sidebar.php to add static widgets to the sidebar but I don't know how to code that.
Anyone?

Try wpebooks.com and look for the Replicator plugin. Allows you to make an exact copy of a blog, including active plugins, widgets, etc. Everything but comments.
