   I !

   I have a problem with Quick Chat on my website. The loading of the tchat is very slow. The tchat appears 5-6 secondes after the page.

   Why ?

   well, I am running 3.4.1, and have only just installed Quick Chat, so I'm not sure if this issue is specific to 3.4.1

   Hi.
   Currently Quick Chat is loaded by ajax after everything on page has finish loading. It is possible to load it a bit sooner (when DOM is ready) but due to Google Chrome bug I'm using this approach. Ajax is used to load chat to make it caching plugins compatible.

   Thanks for the info Marko. It works OK as it is, it's just that I have a page with nothing in the content section except Quick Chat, and users may thinking something is wrong when it takes 6-7 seconds to load. Maybe you could add some a message to the effect "Chat is loading, please wait..."

   Yes this seems like smart thing to do. I'll place loading notification in the next version ;)
