Query Wrangler
[resolved] Expose filters? (5 posts)

    Hi,

I have used Views for Drupal 6 and 7 quite a bit and I can see that you have made a great equivalent here.

One question please - is it possible to expose a filter? In Views, exposing a filter means to allow the user to enter a value into a form field, and perform the query based on that input.

    Thanks

Hey wpfan1000, if that is your real name.

I have been working on exposed filters for quite a while now with the 1.6 version of the plugin. I haven't released this due to my current work load, and not having the time to properly test it.

If you are in a position to help beta test 1.6, please let me know and I will make a release available.

Otherwise, I'll have to wait until I have time to thoroughly test it.

    Let me know,
    Jonathan

    Hi Jonathan,

I am happy to help test it.

Please let me know what I can do.

Will you make 1.6 avail on wordpress.org?

    Joseph

    Joseph,

Thanks for the offer to beta test. I need a bit more time before I feel comfortable putting it on wordpress.org, but for now you can download it from github.

I think at the beginning of June I'll be able to work on this much more.

    Thanks,
    Jonathan

1.6 is now available on wordpress.org here:

It has exposed filters, but they probably need a bit of testing.

    Thanks!
