    I would like to put the language switcher in the header, not as a widget....
    What would I have to put in the header to make that possible?
    It's between french and english

    Hello,

    I want the same. I know I have to add this code to header.php: <?php echo qtrans_generateLanguageSelectCode('image'); ?> but as a result my content will be 'pushed' to the right.

    That's the solution TimoElshof. After you insert the content just see how to rearrange css style.css file to accommodate the new language selector div.

    Code for images:
    <?php echo qtrans_generateLanguageSelectCode('image'); ?>

    Code for text only:
    <?php echo qtrans_generateLanguageSelectCode('text'); ?>

    Code for both image/text:
    <?php echo qtrans_generateLanguageSelectCode('both'); ?>

    Also, if you don't use image but text, you can change the words generated by the code with a 1 line script. see here
