    I can't wait to get this going! I'm having a problem getting things to show up and I'm not sure if I'm missing something or doing something wrong. I'm also using the Disqus comment plugin.

    I use Mailchimp and have inserted this as my form code:
    http://mondaymorningva.us1.list-manage.com/subscribe?u=2a77953e7edb942e61e302b1e&id=901366557d

    I have the Thesis theme and utilize the OpenHook plugin where I've added this code to the thesis_hook_comment_form:
    <?php qoate_newsletter_signup(); ?>

    Under Email identifier (name) is Email
    Under Name identifier (name) is Name

    Hmm, I don't have that much experience with Thesis in combination with Discus but i'll look into it! What settings you choose doesn't matter for the checkbox to show up, it you've placed that line of code it should work.

    I'll have a look asap!

    Thanks so much! This is going to be a SUPER HOT plugin as it's the only one that I've been able to find that can do this. I actually found it when I was looking for something comparable to MaxBlogPress' Subscriber Magnet plugin.

    Just wanted to check-in to see if you came up with anything for the Thesis/Disqus problem. I'm more interested in your plugin - so if disabling Disqus is the only option right now, I'm totally into that.

    Thanks again!

    To be honest with you I haven't had a chance to look into it yet. You could try disabling for now but I'll try to have a look tomorrow allright?

    Should be no problem I guess. I'll let you know. :)

    Aww.. Actually I could have known this before. Since disqus handles comments externally I can't hook anything to the action where the comment is posted.

    This makes it practically impossible for me to actually DO something with the emailadress provided. I'm sorry but i'm afraid this plugin won't be compatible with Disqus. :(

    Bad news for Disqus, great news for you - this is much more desirable than the comment system.

    I can't wait to get it all plugged in. Booyah!
