   Just installed and at attempting to add the first piece of code to the pages it won't save anything and it will rather redirect me to my front end 404 page not found.

   What do you mean "to add the first piece of code"?
   This plugin is not adding code to pages.
   May be you are talking about Code Insert Manager plugin?

   What version of WordPress you are using?

   After attempting to save a new insert it redirected me over to the 404 page not found, exactly as I originally posted, thanks.
