Yesterday I updated to version 3.0.0 of the plugin and it worked awesome like before! Now I wanted to make the update to version 3.0.1 and nothing worked: the area is displayed but displays just my normal blog posts!!! I don't know what happened - I had changed nothing!!! I tried to resave permalinks and the slider options which not worked at all.
I retried the sliders - I run them in widgets - with different options but nothing worked.
Your documentation needs more explaining I guess: what can I use for category? The real title, the slug or the id?
My site is running on WP 3.0.1 and the WPML plugin version 2.0.0 - with your slider plugin 3.0.0 it works like a charm! I use the following widget shortcode: [promoslider id="slideren" category="English" post_type="promotion"] where the in category option I used the real category title (with Capitalization).
I hope you can help I would upgrade to 3.0.1 or then newer versions...
