[Plugin: Promotion Slider] Slides overlap when viewing new browser tab then return to tab w/ Promo S

    When I have a browser tab opened with the page that has the Promotion Slider on it the slider works just fine, and seems to cycle through everything indefinitely with no problems. However, when I open a new browser tab and view that tab for a little bit, the promotion slider slides will all be overlapping upon returning to the previous tab.

    This eventually corrects itself once the slides have cycled through once, but I’m not sure how to keep it from happening to begin with. I don’t know if it’s an issue with the plugin, or just a little browser quirk.

    The problem happens in FireFox 10 and Google Chrome 18.

    I was not able to re-create it in Internet Explorer 9, Safari 5, or Opera 11.

    I appreciate any help.

    @preston,

    What you are experiencing is actually a jQuery bug. Simply updating to the latest version of WordPress, which includes the latest version of jQuery, will correct the issue.

    Thanks, it was the theme loading an old version of jQuery. Getting the latest version in fixed it!
