Hello, I posted a LONG time ago on this forum with a feature I’ve been trying to integrate with the promotional slider on my own site.

As you see here : http://bigtalkdesigns.com/
Below the slider, on the right, I have a “prev” button and “next” to control the navigation of the slider. I’ve tried going through the code of the plugin but I can’t seem to figure out on my own how to link my two buttons to navigate the slider. Can you please help me figure this out?

    Appreciate your time!
    Yan

Why not use the provided hooks to change the text in the existing previous and forward buttons and then use absolute css positioning to put them in the locations of your current buttons? Then you won’t need to create custom jQuery code for each button.

I would like to create a similar navigation bar underneath my slider, similar to what bigtalkdesigns site had (news, recent work) and this site: http://healogix.com/ (when, what, where, who). Any help?

At this point I’m still working on my site on localhost. Thanks!

At this point, the solution is to just use css to reposition the existing navigation elements. In a future release, I am going to make the location and structure of the navigation more flexible to do the types of things you are wanting.
