*Just found out i'm suppose to start a new thread if i need to ask something*

    Hi Micah,

I have set the sliders width and height according to the featured images
dimensions, I have also set the slider options for "default image" as full.

However the slider has some grey area on the right and bottom of the featured image, meaning to say the image doesn't take up the whole space defined by the short code.

I am using the twenty-eleven theme.

I have not published my website so this is the screenshot:

    Hope it'll suffice.

    Thank You
    Amos

The image is never stretched to fit the dimensions of the slider. If the image size is too small, you will see that extra space on the right and bottom.

I am having the same issues. My images are 500 x 216, the short code is as follows:
    [promoslider width='500px']

    Also tried:
    [promoslider width='500px' height='216px']

Both result in a dirty grey border under the images.

First question. WHy THE HELL USE A GREY UJNDERCOLOR? IF THERE WERE NONE THIS WOULD NOT BE A PROBLEMl USE AS TRANSPARENT PNG.

Second questionL Why is this happening at all?

20+ plugins tried for a simple image rotator. All have dispsh*t borders, thumbnails, under colors, arrows, self congratulatory ads and other BS when all i want is a series of images to change, one after the other in one spot. Dear god is that too damn simple for you geniuses?

I agree. The grey background was a bad idea. You can do away with the gray background by applying a line of css to your active theme's style.css file:

    .promo_slider div.panel { background:none; }

Without a link to your site I couldn't be for sure, but I am 99% sure that your theme has some styling that is adding some margin below the images and is causing the background to be visible.
