[Plugin: Profile Pic] Displayed pic problems

I’ve noticed that no matter what the background of my avatar pictures are (even if transparent), the background that it shows up as is grey. To remedy this, I made the background of my avatar white, but there is still a grey outline visible around the avatar. Is there a way to change this background color?
