[resolved] Feeds are not being protected (8 posts)

Using WP 3.0.1 with BuddyPress 1.2.5.

The site's content is being protected fine with this plugin, but the feeds (sitewide activity, groups) are not. All of them are publicly viewable if you know the correct URLs.

Anything I might have been missing? We're trying to setup a totally private community but this is a dealbreaker.

I know we could disable feeds altogether but we'd still like them to be available with password protection.

Can you please post the feed URIs (without the domain), so I can check it. Thanks!

    Hi Dennis,

as I wrote in a (not yet published) comment on your website, it's the sitewide activity feed and all the group feeds. I can access them easily without being logged in.

    domain.com/activity/feed/
    domain.com/groups/groupname/feed/

    Dennis,

have you been able to reproduce the behaviour?

    Kind regards,
    Klaus

Would you please share how you are able to disable the bp feeds altogether?
This is a dealbreaker for my private site as well.

    Stacy,

this would be a way: http://buddypress.org/community/groups/creating-extending/forum/topic/disable-all-rss-feeds/

Giving up on this extension now.
