[resolved] configuring printing w/o editing/deleting content (4 posts)

First off, great plug-in! Love the pdf functionality and ability to print w/o images with just a click.

Quick question though: is there a way to configure this so user's can't choose to delete sections of the post when they print. I know that has the advantage of users being able to choose what they want to print in case of a long post, but I'd prefer that only be able to print only the full post (with image removal options that is).

    Thanks,

I'm interested in this too. Would be easier for people to print pages if they didn't have to manually delete items that are not on the page to begin with.

For instance, a title appears on the print version, that isn't even there on the page. We'd prefer NOT to show the Title @ Website or the URL in the upper left and right. Those URLs shouldn't be on the pages we're trying to have printed, and the one on the upper right can't be deleted.

Otherwise, the plugin seems to be working fine and I do like it, I just know the client is going to say something about these issues.

Is there a way to fix these without losing the changes after an update?

    Thanks!

Ack, sorry for the late late reply :(

Yes, you can include class="print-no" in any element.

Here's an article that shows all the special print/pdf Class and ID names you can use with PrintFriendly.
