I’m really glad to have found this plugin. It seems to be just what I need. However, I have one question.
Is it possible to display both custom-type posts and regular/standard posts in the same loop? I’m guessing it should be possible with the [ic_add_posts post_type='post_type'] short-code, but I can’t seem to figure it out.

    Thank you again!

Nevermind. I was using the short-code list in the readme text, but I just found the Post in Page help in the settings panel and read, “[ic_add_posts post_type='post-type'] – Show posts that belong to a specific post type (only one post type right now)”.

What a pity. It looks like I will have to search for something else for my current project, but, otherwise, I think this is a great plugin and will be looking forward to its growth. Thanks once again for making it available!

    Zelda,

I just added multiple post type support this morning for you, so if you download the newest version you can add multiple post types to a single shortcode now. Just separate them with commas, so [ic_add_posts post_type=”post_type1,post_type2″]

Thank you so very much! You saved me! If I could, I would bake you a three layer cake.

I’ve been trying for hours to figure out how to write the code to adjust the loop without your plugin, but with my current knowledge and skill level I’m afraid I was going around in a veritable loop myself. Made me sense the wisdom in the adage “You need to learn to crawl before you can walk.”

    My heartfelt thanks once again,
    Zelda
