Bulk edit connections? (7 posts)

The situation I'm in is that I want to swap some tags over to the post type, of course that can't be done so I was wondering if it's possible to mass edit or add connections?

    Thanks

So, in other words, to convert term objects into post objects? That might be an interesting utility for Posts 2 Posts.

As for bulk connection management, it has been proposed before, but it's difficult to come up with a good UI for it.

The ability to swap a taxonomy to a post would be awesome but I am not too sure many people would require it.

But on bulk management - I take it that it can be done, the problem is it doesn't look good?

The problem is this: say you select the first set of posts using the checkbox column. But then, how do you select the post which you want those to be connected to?

Can't you put a box in the quick edit panel, like for custom taxonomies?
(Sorry I'm a WordPress developing noob)

It should be possible, but you would need to add a box for each connection type, which could get ugly. A worthy suggestion, nevertheless:

The quick edit panel is already ugly, IMO. This is the existing interface for bulk editing post properties, and I don't think it'd be a good idea to make people go somewhere else to bulk edit the post connections. +1 vote for using the quick edit interface!
