[Plugin: Postie] All emails treated as not authorized (6 posts)

Hi, I installed Postie, but no matter what email account I send a message from I always get the message that it was not an authorized account. I tried the admin email address and I created another account with a different address. I also tried adding the email address to the Authorized Addresses list. What is going on? Thanks,

    John

    Jberek,

Sorry about this. I have figured out the problem (and the solution). Please try upgrading to the development version, deactivating, then reactivating.

After doing that, check under the advanced options under the messages tab in the settings, and make sure that the allowed smtp servers option is blank.

I have version 1.3.1 of Postie and 2.8.4 of WordPress and I have the same problem.
Is the solution the same for me?
What is the different in the two versions? (1.3.1 and development) and vil it automaticly opgrade as the "normal" version?

Tried 1.3.dev and 1.3.2 - will post text but photo is just jpeg placeholder, won't come through. BTW, wp uploads dir is 777.

Upgraded to 1.3.2 and now the the problem is if I send picture in the mail, then the mail is not autorized, but if I send from the same phone without a picture, then the email gets on the blog.
What can be done about this problem?

    Dan

Edit: and the title (subject) gets double. Eg. if the subject is "test" then the title of the post (without picture) "testtest"
