[Plugin: Posthaste] Recent Post Box Problem and a request

    Hi, this plugin is almost exactly what I was looking for. However, I read on your page that you uploaded an update that fixes the Post Box problem but I can’t find that update. My version says 1.0

    I’m using WP 2.7.

    I also have one request: Can you possibly add a “Save as draft” option?

    Thanks so much for this great plugin. It really does make posting much more fun. I like it that I can post from my blog instead of from the dashboard. Awesome!

    1.0 is the latest version and contains that fix. I had an earlier version posted on my website, but not here. Sorry for the confusion.

    I’ll look into adding the “Save as draft” option. Other suggested features so far include custom fields, the wysiwyg/tinymce editor, and the tag autocompletion. I’m trying to be somewhat careful about adding all the bells and whistles (after all, that’s what the full WP editor is for…plus there’s the new Quick Post feature), but the draft mode does make sense for this: add quick thoughts through the posthaste box and then polish them up later for posting.

    I just tagged version 1.1 with two changes:

    • The ability to choose which fields to display (WP 2.7 only, in Settings -> Writing -> Posthaste Settings). And…
    • A “Save as Draft” checkbox.
