Hi...I am only a consultant, and use the basic versions of plugins to ease clients into new functionality. And I have a few almost sold on associator... AND now its gone? Because of a spam spat? I hope you get back in the game. It is, or was, a great product, and wordpress is the perfect community to stress test your concepts. People will pay/donate for the upgrade and customizations... you dont need all the banners outside your settings page... in fact, anywhere else it only confuses/irritates non-tech users getting use to wordpress, the end client who pays the bills and could cut you a check. food for thought.
Hi WhiteGazelle!
Thanks for your Feedback and of course the Post Page Associator Story is not at its end yet. :)
I removed the banner from the plugin page but it worries me that there are a lot of people out there who do not think about the costs of creating a plugin.
E.g. the user "mayday": He sells the free version of this plugin to his clients but he is not willing to pay a few dollars for the development. That's miserable. (And then of course he writes stupid topics about a donation button. ^^ )
So what would you do in my position? :\

Do exactly as whitegazelle suggested: GET RID of the dashboard spam. Seriously: your face in my dashboard is NOT something I want to see when I sign in (which is why I removed your plugin from my sites as well). If it's money you're after, promote your plugins as for-profit on your time, but granting yourself permission to spam a private admin dashboard is NOT okay--EVER.
Hi exiles_return! I know you are a real life looser but unfortunately we cannot help you. ;) Btw: I think your mom is on your dashboard. :D
Dennis : Please do not harass or insult other users on this forum.
MrMist, you are totally right, but after the 100th same slipslop a day everyone will lose one's patience. :\

I used post-page associator for a short time, and I will say that it met the need I had at the time, but I very quickly found an alternative (and a much more lightweight alternative at that). I also run on a donation-based business model, but I believe that Mr. Hoppe has crossed an ethical line.

@NathanHoweMusic: What alternative did you find?
