   Just found a other plugin which is doing the same job - AddQuicktag (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/addquicktag/)

   Same problem here :(
   The editor has been updated in WP 3.1, it might be the cause.

   As @AndreasMoser said, AddQuickTag does the same thing (but it works with WP 3.1).

   My forked version, works in 3.1 Post Editor Button Fork.

   Let me know if it's buggy.
