   Hi

   I have installed PollDaddy and created a poll with Narrow settings. The I get the shortcode and goto my widget section and create a new text widget. I paste the shortcode [polldaddy poll=11231231] into the body of the widget and give it a title.

   But when I goto the frontpage, the widget is displayed with the code and not the poll itself. Please help what am I doing wrong?

   Are you using a text widget?.. can you send me a link to the poll please?

   Try pasting the javascript code into the text widget. Shortcodes don't work in widgets, do they?

   Shortcodes do not work in text widgets on wp.org, however I am going to add this to the next update.

   Polldaddy is alright. Have they made a Flash version yet? I like sodaheads poll widget which is easy to install and runs in flash so it doesn't hang the page up http://www.sodahead.com/
