Pods - Custom Content Types and Fields
[resolved] How is Pods different from WP-Types & Views? (7 posts)

I've used a whole bunch of custom types and taxonomies plugins over the past few years (my questions are littered all over the support forum ;) and I've focused on Pods and WP-Types & Views.

I was wondering if you have a list of reasons why Pods would be a better choice for managing those custom items, plus relationships and various views (queries, results, etc.) TIA!

We're working on a really nice comparison of everything, for now, check out some of our other comparisons. We're going to be putting them on our site once we finish up our new comparison table UI for the site:

Thanks! Looking forward to the comparisons.

One quick question, though: can I build a Pods 2.0 solution without knowing PHP?

Technically yes, stick to Custom Post Types and Custom Taxonomies, those are the easiest things to work with if you don't know code. It's also going to be very helpful if your theme itself supports custom post types and taxonomies.

    Thank you, Scott.

I'm pretty close to needing to deep dive, and Types & Views is the only other option under consideration.
