Switched to New Doman, Audio Files are Gone from Posts (5 posts)

I moved my site to a new domain. Everything is good except the podpress audio files are no longer in the Posts.

Any help on how I can move them through mySQL? The actual mp3s are on the server.

The necessary meta information are in the wp_postmeta table. That table contains entries with the meta_key names _podPressPostSpecific and _podPressMedia.
The _podPressMedia entries contain the meta information of a media file. There should be one for each media file.
The _podPressPostSpecific entries contain the post specific settings of a post.
Both entry types contain in the column post_id the ID which is important to connect the meta information to a specific post.

Make sure that those entries are in you new data base and control whether or not the post IDs in the new blog are still the same as in the old one.

You may use the phpMyAdmin interface (or other db admin interfaces) to export and import these entries of the wp_postmeta table.

    Thanks for the response.

I have already uploaded all the metadata entries. I have posts with more then one _podPressMedia entry. One is empty, the other has info. Gotta figure if that is the issue.

_podPressMedia entry. One is empty, the other has info. Gotta figure if that is the issue.

How did transfer the data? with WP Export and WP Importer plugin?

Maybe copy the _podPressMedia entries with the help of the phpMyAdmin (or similar) interface.

    I did it with phpMyAdmin
I see the issue, there are somehow double entries for _podPressMedia, _podPressPostSpecific, _edit_last

On top of that some of the syntax got copied garbled.

I did a mySQL REPLACE INTO and cleaned up the garbled text but I have to manually delete the empty double entries. Thanks for the help.
