[resolved] Javascript error: "Can't find variable: dbxGroup" (4 posts)

    I just upgraded a site to WP 3.0.1 and podPress 8.8 and now none of the javascript on my new post page works, seemingly because of the line

    var podPress = new dbxGroup(

    in podpress_admin_postedit.js, which results in the error

    Can't find variable: dbxGroup

    I've looked through the plugin, and wordpress in general, and can't find a definition for dbxGroup anywhere.

    (I'm testing in Safari 5, but experience the same error in other browsers).

    jy,
    What version of podpress are you using? Have you downloaded 8.8.5.3 from here:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/podpress/download/

    The latest dev version (8.8.6 beta 4) is available here:
    http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/podpress.zip

    If you are really running 8.8 I strongly recommend upgrading to at least 8.8.5.3. There have been *a lot* of bug fixes since 8.8

    -Regards,
    Ray

    Thanks. That's odd - I'd just done fresh downloads and re-uploaded all my plugins after the upgrade to WP 3.0.1.

    Upgrading seems to have fixed everything. Thanks!

    Great. Glad you got it resolved. The next update to podpress has a few more important little fixes so you'll probably want to check back in a few days. Tim (ntm) is really going to work on this plugin.
