Hi. Is it possible to include the output of [display_podcast] in the RSS feed from a site?
The RSS feed of our podcast ( Ubuntu Podcast ) is syndicated on a number of planets, including Planet Ubuntu-uk.
The planet software strips the enclosure tags and some people only read the planet on the web. It would be great if the big "Download OGG" / "Download MP3" button we have on our main website were also visible when our posts are syndicated.
Is it possible to do so?

Currently it is not possible.
But over weekend, I'm going to think about a way to implement such a function and tell you more afterwards.
Tim
I have implemented a further option into the current Development Version (8.8.10.14 beta 23). On the Feed/iTunes Settings page of podPress you will find among the options for the default blog feeds a new one: "Print podPress elements into the <content:encoded> tags". If you activate this function then podPress will put the code of the podPress post elements into the <content:encoded> tags of the <item>s.
Does the feed parser of Planet Ubuntu-.. pages grab this part of an <item>?
It would be great if you could tell me whether this is what you would like have. If it is useful, I will make it a permanent part of podPress.

Hi ntm,
Thanks for the reply! I will try the development code out and let you know how it behaves. It will take me about a week as I am away for OggCamp this weekend.
But thanks again!

Hi, I've tested the development version of podpress on a test wordpress install, with the feature enabled. It seems to work just fine - thanks!
I haven't had a chance to test it on our live site yet, but will do so soon.
Thanks again, it's brilliant to have a response like this.
