Hello Matt,
I would really like to help you. Since it seems to me that you have installed the plugin and would like to add an episode or configure the RSS feeds – so that you can register the feed at the iTunes Store or any other podcast repository. Am I correct?
Have discovered the podPress FAQs? The answers to the first 3 and the 5th question explains the procedere a little bit and include a few links to forum threads which should help you to get started.
The most important page to configure and customize the RSS and ATOM feeds is probably the Feeds/iTuns settings page.
If you want to use a category feed as your podcast feed then you may find comparable customization options under Posts > Categories > Edit Category > podPress Category Casting.
I’m ready to answer every question.
Regards,
Tim
Hi Tim!
Thanks for your generous offer–. 🙂
I have an album of simple desktop photos of what I’ve been doing on podPress–regarding primarily the issue of URLs.
The link is https://picasaweb.google.com/118219963447618869925/Podcasting?authuser=0&authkey=Gv1sRgCP3om4bk3o6ncg&feat=directlink
These 12 photos–all of which center on the URL issue in the podPress interface on my WordPress Website–should make clear what I have been doing all along. Perhaps you can tell me where I am “going wrong,” if at all (not to express too much hubris!).
Thanks Tim–. 🙂
Best,
Matt
PS: My Website is at http://campfireonthemountain.com. (I’ve put comments in the comments section below most of the photos. The comments offer perhaps some necessary detail, although they are very simple and mostly brief–. :))
