Hi, love this plugin. Absolutely phenomenal work. The primary usage for my feed is for sending .m4a files to iTunes. However, in the podcast directory, it shows all tracks as listed with a duration of 0:01. When they download, the statistics are correct, but I don't want our feed to look like spam or a CD-R put out by the band Wolf Eyes.

I checked the support forum, and I never really saw a clear fix to this in the new version. What's the definitive way to fix this? I set everything on autodetect before I published the post.

    Thanks for your help!
    Roy

The PowerPress podcasting plugin will soon detect the m4a audio format. Past versions of both PodPress and PoewrPress could not detect m4a information because of the PHP compatibility of WordPress. That will change for PowerPress when 3.0 is released in the coming week or two.

    Hi Roy,

does the auto detection retrieve a duration? (podPress is capable if doing that - since version 8.10.3.)
If it does not do that then you should insert the duration manually.
Have tried that? May I have a look at the RSS Feed of your blog? (Could you tell me the name of your blog?)

    Thanks,
    Tim

    Thanks for the replies.
As I soon figured out, the iTunes page itself seems like it only updates once every 24-48 hours. I upgraded to the latest version of podpress and used autodetect to retrieve a duration. I got nervous because the podcast page in iTunes didn't update for a few days, but this seemed to fix the problem.
